Gorgeous Bride!!

Just finishing up the Summers/Morrison wedding pix!! Yay!!! Took me about 3 weeks.. I wonder if that's good or bad? Anyway- They were so much fun!! I have been super lucky with all of my brides and wedding parties actually! Not one single unruly person YET! Thank goodness!!!

Anyway-- SENIORS NOW BOOKING FOR NOVEMBER which I do believe will be an awesome month for pix!! Get it booked! I'm only doing one session a day!!!! Don't wait to book!!!!

Also don't forget the upcoming Sept 11 American Cancer Society Relay for Life Fundraiser!!! Details to come but mark your calendars!!! Those sessions will fill up fast and we are only taking so many!!!!!!!!!

Can you believe summer is almost over? My word that went by fast!!!! I'm hoping fall and winter go just as fast so we can have our new house!! Oh I can't wait!

Oh my today the seniors are going crazy!!!!! LOL I've been on the phone the past hour doing nothing but booking appointments!! Awesome!!! So that being said-- CALL ME- BOOK YOUR SESSION!!!! September is completely full and October is close!!!!!

September 11th is the American Cancer Society Fundraiser!!!!! It's gonna be awesome! There will be vendors there with there booths! They will blow you away with their very cool stuff!!!!! I will be setting up and doing pictures with the animals again! I have my heart set on adding in a pig this time!!! LOL I know, I must be nuts!!! I'm anxious to see what kind of animals the awesome Ross family can come up with this time!!! There will be food!!! There will be prizes!!! There will be tons of fun!

I haven't blogged in so long that I'm not sure where to begin! Let's start with the seniors!!!

I'm also getting ready to change all packages-- wedding, senior and adding regular portrait packages... If you've already booked then you may keep the same packages as listed when you booked your session! If not then get excited-- I love the new ones!

We are getting ready to build!!!! SOOO EXCITED FOR THIS! I get a studio!!! And even better--- ETHEL EDITH IS DECORATING IT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM! COMPLETE SURPRISE! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THEY COME UP WITH!! Love them! Call them! Hire them!

Okay I'm going to bed! Tomorrow is my first puppy session! Had 3 or 4 calls for this lately so what the heck-- willing to try anything!!! Wish me luck!!!!!

PAY IT FORWARD CONTEST

The winner of the pay it forward contest is Judy Thompson and her dad!!! She has given me permission to post her story, so here it is.....

FATHER, BEST FRIEND & HERO!!!


The FATHER and his wife relocated to this area several years ago to farm for a family friend, once they got established the DAUGHTER and her 2 small children relocated to this area so the DAUGHTER could help him out on the farm. For many years now they have been the 2 that have done all the farming (culivating, plowing, planting, harvesting, plus all the maintanence on all the machinery) they have worked together has a FATHER & DAUGHTER team for years now. They are not only FATHER & DAUGHTER but over the years they have become best friends. If one of them happens to not feel well the other takes over so they see that all the work gets done and in a timely manner.

Last fall they get all the crops in and have all the corn & beans stored in a grain bin since all the elevators are full, then they look out and see that bin is on fire, 7 area fire departments shop and get the fire under control, needless to say they lost all the stored corn in the bin as well as the bin, total loss...they moved past that and got all the machinery cleaned and ready for this years crop season. Then a few weeks into getting the fields worked the FATHER is just not being himself, they are on their way to get supplies for the tractors and the more the FATHER talks the more concerned the DAUGHTER gets and she just kept on driving, the FATHER lookes at the DAUGHTER and said hey you just missed your turn, she said yes dad we did, I don't think we are going to be getting any supplies for the farm today I am going to take you into the hospital to get you looked at, and he said ok, if that is what you think we need to do. Well within 48 hours of going to the hospital
he was on his way to Mayo's to have a brain tumor removed. This tumor had developed with in the last 2 weeks and was already applying enough pressure on the brain to make his eye and mouth droop and he was losing his balance. So they went in and were able to get the biggest part of the tumor but was not able to get the fingers that had already attatched themselves to different parts of the front lobe of the brain, they told him that he could start chemo and then radiation to try give him more time, they have since scheduled his 1st radiation treatment but once they got to town the DAUGHTER had spoken with the doctors from Mayo's and they have told her that radiation and chemo may give him a few more months to live and that if he were not to do anything at all the life that he will have after doing radiation will not be the same. So with that being said the DAUGHTER is trying to convince him not to do the radiation and enjoy what time he has left and keep the good quailty of life that he currently has left here on earth.

The daughter would like to have the chance to have some family pictures taken, pictures of her FATHER and Best Friend while he remains with her even though she knows that he only has a limited time left here she wants to have all the memories that she can treasure of him , he will never be forgotten but will be greatly missed and I would love to give her this opportunity to take a day out for her and her FATHER so she will have this to treasure as well as his memories that will forever be in her heart!!!

I can not think of a better way for her to treasure her memories of her FATHER, BEST FRIEND & HERO........

Okay so I played hookie from my computer and housework for the past 2 nights!! Last night we went crappie fishing!! Oh I love to do that!! Then tonight we went mushroom hunting! I don't really like to do that but I love to find a mushroom and then direct my son Drake to the spot and kind of point him to it and then he finds it! Oh the look on his face is priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OKAY SUNDAY IS THE DAY!! Ethel Edith is coming to redo the studio!!! Oh Lord help them!! It's gonna be their biggest challenge!!!! Then to the kitchen! Oh so excited!!

WE BOUGHT LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enough said for now! I'm really hoping Beth or Heather or Annie will just show up and say-- here Jamie-- these are your house plans!! I do not like house plans!!

Okay don't forget April 27 Renee is starting Zumba!!! Those of you who don't know her-- you will love her!!! It's gonna be super fun! Hope to see you all there!

It's been a very busy week! Ethel Edith came and began the work on my house! I can't believe the improvement in my tiny bathroom! I'm going to post pix!! I feel bad for them-- now their starting on my studio! It's a mess!!! No room and tons of stuff! Super anxious to see what they will come up with!

The fundraiser for the American Cancer Society was a huge success!!! We raised $2,000! How cool is that! You must take a quick second and run to Dairy Queen and see the awesome picture I put up of Everett!!! It was my fave of the day! You can also see a couple on my fan page on facebook! I think we will be doing something in the fall! Just not sure yet exactly what it will be! So watch for that!

Okay so I know I'm not doing so well at this blog thing!! I will get better!!!! There has been a ton going on!!! Very busy all ready!!!

Super excited about a wedding next week!! Ahhh I can't wait! Not nervous at all! Just excited!

This weekend will be crazy busy-- Saturday is the fundraiser for the American Cancer Society! From 9-5 we will be taking pictures of little ones with ducks, chicks, goats, lambs and I'm so hoping the baby calf will be able to make it! It will be adorable! I can't wait to capture the faces of these little ones with the animals!! So that being said-- if you don't have an appointment you should get one... There aren't to many left and you won't wanna miss it! Send me a message if you need the info on it! Or it's on my facebook page!

Okay another super exciting thing that's about to start!!!!! The girls from ETHEL EDITH are coming to redecorate my house and get it ready for me to sell! I don't have time to do it nor could I if I did have the time... We are doing one room at a time and I've given them no instructions!! They can do what they want!!! I CAN'T WAIT! They are starting on my teeny tiny bathroom soon!! I will be sure and post before and after pix for you all to see!
Their spring show is coming up and I will be taking pictures of all of it for them!! Make sure and watch for the info on this and come on out!! It's gonna be awesome!!!

Okay I'm about to redo my senior packages soon! Watch for that! I'm gonna really spice them up a bunch!! Also all spring and summer off and on I will be offering little package incentives and bonuses so keep watching for those!

A senior session that I've been working on... She was a trooper and didn't mind the cold and rainy day we had!!!

I just did a last minute senior session-- It turned out pretty good since we had crappy weather!! She was a trooper and didn't mind a little cold and rain!!!

What a beautiful day!!!! FINALLY!!!! Of course my session tonight is inside--DARNIT!! That is unless I can talk Kris into moving all of her tumbling mats outside!! Don't think she'd like that idea much!!! So tonight I will be doing all of the tumblers and I'm pretty excited about trying to get some fun action shots of the girls as well!!! We'll see what happens!!

I'm so excited!!! 2 weeks til another wedding!!!!! YAY!!! I can't wait!!!!!! I love weddings!!! I'm such a softy for "moments".... Shhhh don't tell anyone!

This weather I think is making people a little crazy also-- I got a text first thing this morning from my very good friend Beth-- This is what it said-- HELLO spring!! Hot diggity dog this is awesome!!!!
Yes she said hot diggity dog!!!! (she's gonna kill me for this!) She's so funny!!!

Okay so I'm finding out about all of this really cool stuff I can do that I didn't know I could do!! Lucky for the next few sessions coming up because I'm ordering all kinds of extras for them just so I can see new things!!!

Also let me just say I've only had a fan page for a couple of days and there are all ready over 200 fans!!!! That rocks!!! You guys are amazing!!!

I can't believe it's starting to get nice out!!! Ahhhh I'm so happy!! However, my son Drake just informed me he wasn't ready for April! I asked him why and he said-- That's when all the storms come!!! He's so afraid of storms! Poor little man!!!

Right now I'm watching this rain--I have an engagement session this afternoon!! I wanna shoot it outside!!! So please rain--GO AWAY FOR JUST A BIT!!!

Okay I have tons to share after this incredibly busy weekend!! However, I'm behind!! So your gonna have to wait just a little longer to see some really cute pix!!! Loved it!!!!!

Took some new pictures tonight of my niece, Madisyn!!! Oh she was not to happy about it! We did manage to get a couple of good ones for her mama though!!!

I think this has been the longest week ever!!!! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!!

Last night my son Drue earned a new belt at Pearcy's Taekwondo in Shelbyville!! I'm so proud of him!! He loves it so much and he works pretty hard!!!

I also just finished a cute little collage for my great neighbor Rebecca!!! I think it's pretty cute!!

I just got home from playing bingo (yes, I said bingo!! ) in Mt. Zion with my grandpa!!! I lost!!! I knew I should've stayed home to edit pictures!! That will teach me!! Now I will just be up half the night playing catch up!!!

After tomorrow I'm booked solid for the next 6 days so if I don't answer my phone and you need me send me a text and you will get a much faster response!!!

Just finished doing a session!! It was great!!! This little lady is absolutely adorable and she did a great job!!! Will show you some pix in just a little bit!!!
But first let me tell you-- THANK YOU FOR ETHEL EDITH!!!!! You will see why when you see the pictures we just did!!! All the furniture came from the Fox girls and I used some of Maggies headbands!!! They worked out really well!!! If it weren't for their wonderful finds and handmade pieces my inside pix might be just a little bit less exciting!!! Ahhh their talent is amazing!!!
